Iwo, Osun State- born Alhaji Adebayo Oladosu and an aspirant for the Osun West Senatorial District in the next year general election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has boasted that his emergence as the party’s flag- bearer would boost the party’s chances of winning the election.
The politician, who is popularly known as ‘Rovet’ spoke through a statement from his Media Unit in which he also disclosed that his decision to join the race is to offer quality representation to his people at the National Assembly.
Appealing to APC leaders, stakeholders and members to support his emergence as the party’s senatorial candidate, he stressed that his candidature would attract more votes to the party in the forthcoming elections just as he was full of optimism that the party’s governorship candidate, Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji will emerge victorious at the polls and that President Bola Tinubu will be re-elected in 2027.
Oladosu maintained that his emergence as the APC senatorial candidate would boost the party’s chances of victory and that it would give him the opportunity to further serve the people with quality representation.
According to him, “as someone familiar with the needs of the people and the senatorial district, I will apply my experience, exposure and connections to attract support from the Federal Government and corporate organisations to address the challenges facing the area”.
He also called for massive support for the APC in the forthcoming elections, promising to maintain a direct link with the grassroots, adding, “my representation at the National Assembly will prioritize the interests of the grassroots with the assurance that my contributions would focus on the development of the senatorial district and the state”.
He urged party members to intensify mobilisation efforts across the 10 local governments in the senatorial district to ensure the party’s success at the polls and appealed to residents to remain peaceful and law-abiding in order to achieve the desired progress in society.
