Every journey begins with a small step, often driven by curiosity rather than clarity. My journey into technology was not planned. It started with a simple question: What should I learn?<\/em> \"\ud83e\udd14\"<\/p>\n

Coming from a small village with limited exposure to computers, I never imagined that one day I would be part of a global community and attend an international event like WordCamp Asia \"\ud83c\udf0f\".<\/p>\n

My path was not traditional. I did not come from a technical background, nor did I have a clear roadmap. But what I did have was curiosity, determination, and the willingness to learn \"\ud83d\udcaa\".<\/p>\n

Over time, that curiosity turned into skills, those skills turned into a career, and that career connected me to a global community through WordPress \"\ud83d\udcbb\"\"\u2728\".<\/p>\n

This is the story of how WordPress became the source of my satisfaction and joy \"\ud83d\ude0a\".<\/p>\n

\n

\"\ud83c\udf93\" Early Life and Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I come from a small village, where opportunities in technology were limited. For higher education, I moved to the city of Rajkot \"\ud83c\udfd9\".<\/p>\n

Like many students, I followed a traditional academic path and completed my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.<\/p>\n

However, after completing my degree, I felt uncertain about my future \"\ud83d\ude15\". Chemistry was my subject, but it was not my passion.<\/p>\n

That is when I decided to learn computers \"\ud83d\udcbb\".<\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\ude80\" Starting My Computer Journey<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In 2009, I enrolled in a Computer Engineering course. Everything was new to me\u2014programming, logic, and technical concepts.<\/p>\n

It was not easy, especially coming from a non-technical background. But I was determined to learn \"\ud83d\udcaa\".<\/p>\n

I joined a 3-month training program but completed only 1.5 months. At that point, I had a choice:<\/p>\n

Wait\u2026 or take a risk.<\/p>\n

I chose to take a risk \"\u26a1\".<\/p>\n

I applied for a job\u2014and I was selected as a PHP Web Developer \"\ud83c\udf89\".<\/p>\n

That moment changed my life.<\/p>\n

\"\ud83d\udcbb\" Building a Career in PHP<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For the next five years, I worked as a Core PHP Developer.<\/p>\n

Then one day, everything changed.<\/p>\n

My boss said:
\u201cAdd content to the WordPress post sidebar.\u201d<\/p>\n

I was shocked \"\ud83d\ude33\".<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t know WordPress.<\/p>\n

But I didn\u2019t give up.<\/p>\n

I searched, learned, and completed the task \"\ud83d\udd0d\".<\/p>\n

That one moment changed my direction forever.<\/p>\n

\"\u2728\" Discovering WordPress<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As I explored WordPress, I realized its true power.<\/p>\n

With less code, we could build faster, better, and smarter websites \"\u26a1\".<\/p>\n

In 2015, I decided to focus fully on WordPress.<\/p>\n

And that decision changed my life.<\/p>\n

\"\ud83c\udf0d\" Choosing Independence<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In 2018, I took another big step\u2014I left my job.<\/p>\n

I started working remotely as a WordPress Developer \"\ud83d\udcbc\"\"\u2728\".<\/p>\n

It was risky\u2026 but it gave me freedom \"\ud83c\udf0d\".<\/p>\n

Freedom to work globally.
Freedom to grow.
Freedom to dream bigger.<\/p>\n

\"\ud83e\udd1d\" Becoming a Contributor<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I developed and published two plugins in the WordPress repository\u2014Contact Information Widget<\/strong> and Shital Quiz Cloner for LearnDash<\/strong> \"\ud83d\udd0c\"\"\u2728\".<\/p>\n

Seeing people use my work gave me deep satisfaction \"\ud83d\ude0a\".<\/p>\n

I started contributing to Core, Meta, and Polyglots.<\/p>\n

I became a Core and Meta Contributor in WordPress<\/strong> \"\ud83d\udc99\".<\/p>\n

I have contributed to multiple WordPress releases, including:<\/p>\n
